As a financial advisor for over 16 years, I help you uncover your “money story” and help change your attitude about money from fear and scarcity. I focus on helping busy, professional women and small business owners realize both your professional and personal aspirations by prioritizing your financial goals, developing a comprehensive financial plan, setting up affordable retirement plans and offering practical solutions using investments and insurance resources while helping you gain a better understanding of your unique needs. I define financial planning as your money being aligned with your life and your dreams.
My background includes working for an estate planning firm, bankruptcy attorney, direct product sales and owning a bookkeeping firm. However, it was my knack for managing my own family’s financial resources and making wise investments to successfully pay for three college educations while planning for retirement that ultimately provided the motivation to become a financial advisor.
I have had articles published in Business First, the Women's Book, the Collective for Women and have appeared in Columbus C.E.O. Magazine, The Daily Reporter, and on Good Day Columbus. I also also authors an enewsletter "Dream, Plan, Achieve." I am active in WELD, NAWBO and The Transition Network. Mary volunteers for a variety of non-profit organizations and has been on the board of HandsOn Central Ohio, WELD, FairyGoodmothers, and The Transition Network.
